Entries for the 2025 Science to Art Award are open and will close on Friday 31 January 2025 at 17:00 AEDT.

Conditions of entry

  • Images must be generated from research funded by the NHMRC (and NHMRC grants reference is to accompany each submission).
  • Digitally enhanced or altered images are eligible but must be supported with an explanation of any alternations.

On entry, the submitter will be asked to certify that:

  • Ownership rests with the person submitting the image, satisfying national copyright requirements they grant NHMRC an enduring, non-exclusive license to use the image without charge.

Our commitments to you:

  • NHMRC will commit that the submitter's moral rights will be observed and NHMRC will publicly acknowledge ownership of the image if it is used in any publications, social media or online.

Submissions should be uploaded but if there are any issues, please send it electronically in either .jpg, .tif. or .png format at a minimum resolution of 300dpi to nhmrc.awards@nhmrc.gov.au.

Acknowledgement and license
I confirm that I own and have the copyright in the image submitted and as copyright owner, I grant the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) an enduring, non-exclusive licence to use the image for non-commercial purposes without charge.
