The objective of the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) 2023 scheme is to fund implementation research focused on addressing non-communicable disease (NCD) risk factors associated with city environments and related health inequities.
Together with other GACD member agencies, NHMRC is inviting investigators to submit applications for implementation research focused on addressing non-communicable disease risk factors associated with city environments and related health inequities in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) and/or in populations facing conditions of vulnerability in High-Income Countries (HICs). NHMRC will only fund research in high-income countries where the research focuses on Indigenous population groups.
