Embryo Research Licensing Committee Report to Parliament – 1 March to 31 August 2022

Section 19(3) of the Research Involving Human Embryos Act 2002 (the Act) requires the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Embryo Research Licensing Committee (NHMRC Licensing Committee) to table 6-monthly reports in either House of Parliament on, or before, 30 June and 31 December each year, and at any other time as required by either House of Parliament. The reports must include information about both the operation of the Act and licences issued under the Act. This is the 40th biannual report published by the NHMRC Licensing Committee.
