This information booklet provides guidance on how the Targeted Calls for Research (TCR) peer review process works, what is involved, and the role and responsibilities of consumer and community representatives (CCRs) on peer review panels.

This booklet also provides insight for anyone who is interested in participating in peer review as a CCR. The aim of the booklet is to ensure that all current and future panel members feel supported and informed throughout the peer review process. The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) endeavours to make the peer review process as smooth as possible for all CCRs participating in a peer review panels and looks forward to working with all prospective CCRs.
