The projects showcased are representative of hundreds of successful high-quality projects funded each year by NHMRC.
NHMRC CEO Professor Anne Kelso we know that research is a long game, not a race – an ongoing endeavour driven by human curiosity and, at times, the urgent need to find solutions.
'The response to COVID-19 has shown us the importance of our long-term national investment in health and medical research and underlined the direct link between good health, the quality of our lives and our national prosperity.'
