NHMRC has identified a number of grants with unmet grant conditions or milestones in RGMS, which are preventing payments to Administering Institutions.

Common examples include:

  • CIA required to complete the “At award” condition
  • Ethics approvals for transferred grants (for grants originally awarded prior to 1 October 2015)
  • Confirmation of partner contributions (for Partnership Project grants).

RAOs are encouraged to check for unmet conditions and milestones in RGMS and where possible action these. RAOs can view outstanding conditions and milestones for their institution’s grants through the “Grants Summary” tab of the “RAO Dashboard”.

For more information on viewing conditions and milestones see Section 3.2.3.2 and Section 3.2.3.3 respectively of the RGMS User Guide – Grant Administration.

For more information on completing “At award” data see Section 4 of the RGMS User Guide – Awarding Grants.
